Yeah. I'm the guy who started the deviantart thread that was met with overwhelming response... Well atleast the first half of that sentence was true, haha. Nope, I'm not an art major. I'm a bio sci major. Photography's just my hobby and I've been doing it for I think about 4 years.
Your stuff is really good, are you an art major?

Yeah, I edit all my photos in Photoshop but notice I said edit. I never fake things. The scene is real but I gave my own take of it. The "aura" you describe is caused partially by the huge glare in the image from the sun and from slightly blurring the edges of the highlights of the photo.
